HIVERA is an ERA-Net action devoted to AIDS/HIV research throughout Europe and coordinated by the French national agency for research on AIDS and on viral hepatitis (ANRS). It involves ministries, research organisations, and governmental bodies, funding agencies from Belgium, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Romania, and Turkey (Our partners)

The main objective of HIVERA is the establishment of European-wide joint funding programmes on AIDS/HIV research. HIVERA aims at harmonizing and vitalizing AIDS/HIV research policies across Europe with high standards in programme management and in scientific evaluation.

HIVERA is supported by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme - Cooperation
